Finish selection guide
Mirror: highest reflection; makes a statement on lift interiors, feature walls and showroom details. Shows fingerprints most — consider AFP.
Hairline: long, continuous straight lines running the length of the sheet; suits lift doors, trims, corridors and large panels.
No.4 matte (satin): a short, soft brushed grain with low sheen, for calm, contemporary interiors and large areas.
Bead blast: an even, sand-blasted grain with no lines and a soft, diffused sheen.
Etched: patterns created on the surface — geometric, floral or your own artwork. See the etched design catalogue.
Embossed: raised relief that adds depth to cladding, panels and furniture fronts.
Printed: your pattern, artwork or brand design printed on the sheet.
Colour guide: telling the PVD colours apart
Gold: a clear, warm yellow gold.
Champagne gold: a pale, greyish beige — much softer than gold.
Rose gold: a pinkish copper.
Bronze: a dark, chocolate brown.
Brass-like olive yellows are not part of the SMN range. Screens change colour, so always approve a physical sample before you specify.
Grade guide: SS 304 or SS 202
SS 304 offers higher corrosion resistance and suits humid, coastal or high-exposure areas. SS 202 is a cost-effective choice for indoor decorative work. If you are unsure, tell us where the sheet will be used and we will advise.

Care and maintenance
Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then wipe dry. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and harsh chemicals. Ask us about care for a specific finish or coating.

What are stainless steel designer sheets?
Stainless steel sheets finished with textures, patterns or PVD colour coatings, used for wall cladding, lift interiors, furniture and architectural features in place of plain steel.
Which grade should I choose — SS 304 or SS 202?
SS 304 offers higher corrosion resistance and suits humid or high-exposure areas. SS 202 is a cost-effective choice for indoor decorative work.
Which PVD colours are available?
Gold, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold and Bronze across the mirror, hairline, matte, bead blast, etched and embossed finishes. Ask us about Black, Blue and Silver for your project.
What thicknesses and sizes do you supply?
Designer sheets from 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm, standard size 1220 × 2440 mm. Custom sizes are available on request.
Can a design be customised?
Yes. Finish, colour and pattern can be customised to a project, including etched patterns and printed designs made from your artwork.
Do you supply outside Delhi NCR?
Yes, SMN Industries supplies across India.
What is AFP?
Anti-fingerprint (AFP) is a protective treatment that helps reduce visible fingerprint marks and keeps touched surfaces looking cleaner. Ask us which surfaces can take it.
